BigLite Installation Guide

Important:

1. Shaft butt must be double taped.
Make sure there are no sharp edges by first tapping over the butt end of the shaft with a small piece of tape and tuck in any overhang to cover the shaft edge. Then put another layer of double sided tape over the entire length of the grip.

2. “Spiral”: Turn in one direction only.
To slip the grip on, press the grip gently against the shaft butt at an angle. Then turn the grip onto the shaft. (Keep turning in one direction. Do not rock left-n-right!!) Once the grip is over the shaft, turn the grip in! (Push and turn the grip in a spiral motion) Slow down near the end and avoid pushing too hard against the butt cap.

3. Allow more time to dry.
Keep the protective plastic shield on during installation to protect the surface of the grip. Allow the grip 24 hours to dry before using the putter. Do not twist the grip within 48 hours.

1. Apply a small piece of tape over shaft butt first and tuck in overhang. Then apply a layer of double sided tape over entire length of the grip.

Keep the plastic shield on.

2. Spray a generous amount of solvent over the entire tapped area to lubricate the tape. Then spray a small amount into the grip to lubricate the opening and inner walls of the grip.

Clamp the shaft very tightly!

3. Press grip against the shaft at an angle and turn in one direction to slip on. Then push and turn the grip in a spiral motion until the grip is fully seated against shaft end.

Keep turning in one direction only!

4. Make final alignment adjustments. Remove protective plastic shield.

Once final alignment is adjusted, do not twist the grip within 48 hours.

Note: Due to the size, thickness and the special Eco friendly, biodegradable material used in the making of this special grip, this BigLite grip is not as flexible and will not stretch as much as a regular, thin rubber grip. It may be slightly more difficult to go in. Therefore, it is important that you keep turning the grip in one direction only to make pushing in easier.
